Entertainment – Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is an entertainment complex hosting camps, clinics, local, regional and national tournaments, international events and concerts annually. The complex also serves as the home of the Colorado Rapids men’s professional soccer team.

Wildlife – Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge – Located just southwest of the site sits this 15,000-acre expanse of prairie, wetland and woodland habitat. The land has a unique story – it has survived the test of time and transitioned from farmland, to war-time manufacturing site, to wildlife sanctuary. It may be one of the finest conservation success stories in history and a place where wildlife thrives. Attracting tourists from near and far, the Refuge provides environmental education and interpretive programs, among others, and is a sanctuary for more than 330 animal species.

Art – Derby Art District – Located approximately 7 miles north of the River North (RiNo) Art District, the area is served by a new light rail station and RTD, which links the district to downtown Denver and other city segments. This exciting new collaboration of studios and galleries within the historic Derby neighborhood in Commerce City offers affordable art studios, gallery spaces and other amenities to support the arts with venues that will provide long-term space for artists and creative businesses.

Neighboring Community Activity – Since its inception in 2001, Reunion presents a pioneering spirit with agricultural legacies. The neighborhood, with nearly 1,500 families, includes a recreation center, 52-acres of open space, access to Buffalo Run Golf Course, schools, and extensive parks and open spaces.
